Currently, speed limits on Lake Winnipesaukee requires boats to not exceed 45 mph during the day and 25 mph at night. This sunset law will be expiring at the end of the year. Should speed limit enforcement on lakes in NH become permanent? Tell us what you think!

When a culture of responsibility doesn't exist speed limits are needed. Unfortunately ours is not a culture of responsibility.

Naturally I meant statutes (laughing)

Not that statues shouldn't have rights.

Which reminds me. ALL statues should have had sunset clauses.

A culture of repsonsibility in operating boats is good, while speed limits are bad. Education is better than enforcement.
